QuantiSHIELD Rapid 1K is an aliphatic 1-component waterborne formulation delivering good chemical and water resistance while providing good abrasion resistance and fast-setting properties. It is designed to be used as a primer or topcoat sealer. This material is 42% solids and can be used on porous and non-porous substrates. This material is available in flexible, semi-flexible or rigid film. QUANTISHIELD Rapid1K is an air-dry system where it is normally roll applied. This low viscosity dispersion dries clear and flexible in 10-15 minutes acquiring full cure in 24 hours or maybe forced dried at elevated temperatures. QUANTISHIELD Rapid 1K-Topcoat is available in medium to high elongation formulations where flexibility is demanded. The high-flex version provides up to 200% elongation with a tensile strength of 2400 psi while the medium-flex allows for 100%. Pigments and thickener additives may also be included to enhance its use.
